The Faith Formation Program of St. Charles Borromeo Parish
strives to provide children with the knowledge, experiences, and skills
necessary to become faithful disciples of Jesus.
In keeping with their age
and ability, they will more fully understand the question: "Why did
God make us?" "To know Him, to love Him and to serve Him....and
to transform our world through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Classes are offered for
children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade, which includes classes for
the Sacraments of
Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
The Religious Education at
St. Charles Borromeo also includes Adult Faith
Formation. The process of
R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is for those who
are seeking Baptism, have been baptized in another
faith tradition or those who have been baptized Catholic but have not received
the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confirmation. The
process begins in the summer with the Inquiry Period.
Please call the parish
office to talk about the Children's Faith Formation Program, RCIA or anything
that might interest you. I am especially interested in talking with
parishioners interested in volunteering in area of Religious
Education.
God
is good....all the time!
